Emerging Health Initiatives Inc. is a 501(c)3 non-profit corporation designed to provide accessible, compassionate and quality healthcare in rural Tanzania. We are headquartered in Salisbury, Maryland, USA with an international team of collaborators in Tanzania, Kenya and the United States.

OUR MISSION

To introduce innovative healthcare delivery systems in rural, northwestern Tanzania designed to provide accessible, compassionate and quality health services.

Through developing and supporting innovative health initiatives, organizing medical/health missions, research and monitoring and evaluating projects, EHI inc. aims to share and expand ownership and agency beyond the founders through continued improvement in health care delivery and gradual transference of knowledge to local staff living in Kamachumu. 

Our immediate goal is to launch Kamachumu Health Clinic.
