We’re thrilled to welcome Dr. Abdul Hassan to Emerging Health Initiatives (EHI) as the Chief Administrator for Kamachumu Health Clinic!
Dr. Hassan brings more than four years of experience in healthcare leadership, health systems strengthening, project management, and operational excellence. Prior to joining EHI, he served as Centre Manager at MSI Tanzania, where he oversaw the strategic and operational management of a high-volume health facility. His leadership and contributions helped position the facility among the top-performing centers within the organization.
Dr. Hassan holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Dodoma, Tanzania, as well as a certification in Project Management in Global Health from the University of Washington. He is passionate about building efficient, sustainable healthcare systems that expand access to quality healthcare services and create lasting impact in the community.

And he’s already making an impact! In just one month with EHI, Dr. Hassan has met with local authorities and community leadership, helped arrange a clinic inspection, and begun recruiting additional clinic staff as we continue preparing to open Kamachumu Health Clinic.
