Why this matters:

Too many people in rural Tanzania fall ill or die from preventable diseases due to lack of access to basic medical care.

  • Life Expectancy: 66 years old
  • Child mortality: 1 in 25 children dies before their 5th birthday
  • Doctor shortage: Only 26% of doctors serve the 75% of Tanzanians living in rural areas
  • Many people must leave the country to access quality healthcare
It doesn’t have to be this way. By opening Kamachumu Health Clinic, we’ll bring quality, compassionate care closer to home for thousands of families.
We have already finished construction and state-of-the-art equipment is on its way. We need your help to fund the final touches to bring the clinic to life.

Your support will fund:
  • Salaries for talented Tanzanian medical staff who understand the community they serve
  • Essential medical supplies and lifesaving medications
  • The final furnishings needed for patient care and comfort
  • An Electronic Medical Records (EMR) system to streamline patient records and enhance quality of care
  • and more!
