Dr. Abdul Hassan is a healthcare management professional and medical doctor with over four years of experience in healthcare leadership, health systems strengthening, project management, and operational excellence. He has a proven track record of leading healthcare facilities, improving organizational performance, and implementing systems that enhance service delivery, financial sustainability, and patient experience.
 
Prior to joining Emerging Health Initiatives (EHI), Abdul served as Centre Manager at MSI Tanzania, where he oversaw the strategic and operational management of a high-volume health facility. Through strong leadership and data-driven decision-making, he successfully improved service income, strengthened health insurance reimbursement performance, enhanced quality systems, and led facility improvement initiatives that increased operational efficiency and client satisfaction. His contributions helped position the facility among the top-performing centers within the organization.
 
Abdul brings expertise in healthcare operations, project implementation, stakeholder engagement, health financing, quality improvement, and organizational development. He has worked closely with government health authorities, healthcare providers, and development partners to support sustainable and impactful health programs.
 
Abdul holds a Doctor of Medicine (MD) degree from the University of Dodoma, Tanzania, and a certification in Project Management in Global Health from the University of Washington. He is passionate about building efficient, sustainable healthcare systems that expand access to quality healthcare services and create lasting impact in the community.
